Day 1: Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls
After breakfast at your hotel, the tour will depart for a day of hiking, coffee and a cultural tour at Materuni. This village is located at the downslope of Mount Kilimanjaro.
At the village, we will have a high time hiking to the waterfalls and enjoying the scenic downfall. Significantly the water resulted from the melted ice at the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. We will visit a coffee plantation and learn from residents how they plant, treat, and harvest the coffee, how they dry it and how they make coffee locally until it comes to your cup ready to drink. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast departs to Tarangire National Park. Moreover, you will take off with lunch boxes, and enjoy a full-day game drive in the park. Exclusively in the afternoon, you have a picnic lunch, then continue with a game drive.
The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
